His stories are historically accurate, and totally absorbing no matter how many times you read them.Special thanks go out to my friend Mike, for introducing me to J. R. R. Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings trilogy way back in my college days.I recommend this series to everyone.Right now my focus is history. I have got so many ideas rolling around in my head. 1861: Prelude to CivilWar. We Might Have Been Kings: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and the American Revolution. And, so many more. The problem is deciding which book to write first. People often ask me for advice on how they can get started writing.I tell them to read everything you can get your hands on. Write as much as you can, and don't limit yourself to one subject or genre. More importantly, don't be afraid to fail. Not every book is going to be a success. Some of them are going to sit there for six months, or a year before they take off and start selling. Fees changed and became tied to the eBay store levels sellers have. New picture requirements went into effect as sellers made a mad scramble to get their listings updated.The final outtake, as usual, is a better buyer experience.To thrive and grow in 2014 your eBay business needs to be fresh. You need to be nimble and able to react quickly, no matter if you are responding to eBay mandated changes or competitive pressure from other sellers.That is what all of my books are about.They teach you the basics. This book does just what it says. It provides a step by step guide on what to do when both partners discover sex addiction and need help. I was disappointed to see bad reviews considering much of the material covered is very complementary to the recovery material outlined in the workbooks found Recovering Couples Anonymous. This book explains the painful yet treacherous days of living through discovery of sex addiction including both partners’ perspectives and how to take steps to stop the sexual compulsive behaviors and moves toward how to communicate and rebuild trust. What is emphasized is that true healing will require both partners to commit to healing individually and also committing to the healing of the relationship. I can’t thank the authors enough for writing this.

I cannot express how refreshing it was to see how the problems that I have been dealing with my entire life and for the 26 years that I have been married were so eloquently laid out in this book. When reading this book Paldron breaks down in practical terms what a sex addict is and all of the behaviors associated. Once she has done this Paldron clearly lays out what is needed to be done to put back or in my case create the foundations of a healthy and functional relationship. The book is written in practical and day to day terms and is not theoretical. Being a sex addict for my entire adult life and having a dysfunctional marriage I feel this book has helped me find something I never had which is love and intimacy.

The book was a great guide of how to get through a challenging situation

Needs to be out in paperback. Too good to keep locked up electronically. Has practical exercises for discovering what went wrong in the relationship. Is honest enough to say women objectifiy themselves and each other. Includes flirting (advertising sexual availability) as sexualization behavior to be included in disclosure. Acknowledges that the immense pain of the partner and shame of addict are emotions to be processed repeatedly. Links how family of origin role modeling of relationships dictate present relationships in a simple way. Clear, actionable, comprehensive and hopefilled.

This book is a written in a straight forward, intelligent and organized style. The author tells it like it is with wisdom. The organization of each chapter not only makes for easy reading but provides clarity and comprehension of a most difficult situation that one faces in their life. I particularly liked at the end of each chapter how the author summarized and then offered what to expect in the next chapter. I will re read this book several times over until I can easily put to use the information provided. I thank the author for writing this book which I view as an anchor or life saving device to keep me afloat during these difficult times of reconciliation.

This work of historical fiction offers fresh perspectives on the War of the Roses, known also as the Cousins' War. The events unfold through the eyes of Katherine Woodville, sister to Queen Elizabeth, wife of King Edward IV of England. Due to her elevation in status through her sister, Katherine marries Harry Stafford, the Duke of Buckingham, and both are alternate narrators throughout the book. Katherine and Harry wed as children, but little else is know historically about Katherine. Yet, the author vividly brings both her and her husband to life, adding a very human element to those turbulent times.The story is well told, as each narrative melds into the next seamlessly, while unfolding for the reader the dramatic and fascinating story of the War of the Roses. It is a wonderful blend of fact and fiction. Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres, and I was royally entertained by this well-researched book. I also enjoyed the author's notes, following the conclusion of the book. My only criticism of the book is that on occasion, the dialogue shifts a bit too much into the vernacular of today, creating a bit of dissonance in the narrative,which is the only reason I rated it four stars, rather than five. Still, those who love reading historical fiction will most certainly enjoy this book.

I enjoyed this novel for it's refreshing perspective on the Buckingham rebellion and the marriage between Henry Stafford and Katherine Woodville. It is a shame that one historical record can become the defining word upon such a thing as a marriage and the author quotes in her author's note the words of Dominic Mancini that are taken as the basis for the nature of Henry and Kate's marriage: "for, when he (Henry) was younger, he had been forced to marry the queen's sister, whom he scorned to wed on account of her humble origin". Therefore, it was very interesting to me to read a much more balanced version of their marriage and I felt as though Ms. Higginbotham gave sound reasoning for her decision to portray it as such. Sometimes we have to realize that the facts are there in front of us, if we would just get past the murky waters of historical bias.Overall, I really liked both characters and enjoyed reading of how their relationship changed as they grew up together. A child marriage may seem strange to a modern day reader, but through this novel I could clearly see how Henry and Kate became a strong couple due to their shared experiences in childhood as well as adulthood. It was very well-written.Even though it does not affect the quality of the novel itself I will note that the author is not a follower of Richardian ideas, which seem to be rather prevalent in historical fiction these days. That is not to say that she portrays Richard as a monster in keeping with Shakespeare, but rather he is not portrayed as either devil nor saint. He was a man as any other, with ambitions and dreams and a measure of both good and bad. However, if you do not respond well to anything other than saint then this novel is not for you. (Again, not a reflection on the novel itself, only a caution to those with strong feelings on the matter).In my opinion though, Ms. Higginbotham has researched the facts and portrayed the events in a way that resonates with her, as every Cousins War author does. Truthfully, this varied number of perspectives is one of the reasons why this is my favorite era of British history. I could read about it forever, and it would never get old!

From the sidelines, Katherine Woodville, sister of the queen, gives us an interesting perspective of events surrounding the end of the Yorkist dynasty. Told in first person both from her point of view and that of her husband, Henry the Duke of Buckingham, we get a tale partly informed, mostly biased, and sad in a pathetic sort of way. Katherine most certainly does not like the Duke of Gloucester, and she has a difficult time staying neutral in face of her husband's obvious hero-worship. When Edward IV dies and Richard immediately begins his campaign to gain the crown, the fate of her father and brother seals her hatred of the unpleasant new King.This novel is very black-and-white. We learn of Richard's guilt from his own lips in a neutral, unemotional way. There is no ambiguity, which I think would have made events more interesting. But Henry's reaction on hearing the fate of the princes in the tower is enough to explain his sudden about-face and his willingness to join the first rebellion. It is a tidy explanation and fits the most damning interpretation of Richard's actions. With his wife's encouragement, Henry commits himself to a doomed enterprise without possibly thinking of the consequences. Katherine, of course, must struggle on, deprived of her husband, her sons and her estates.The book moves along effortlessly and everything fits together. Perhaps limited by the first person perspective, many events were simply glossed over (like the executions of her relatives and details surrounding the princes in the tower). Nevertheless I found it a good read, even though there were no surprises.

Chizu (she is NOT shy, clueless, but NOT shy) is in a tizzy shopping for a birthday present for Ryu (Sanada). Although Chizu and Yani meet Sawako's parents for the first time (a sleep over at Sawako's house), Sawako (and Kazehaya) is more of a supporting character in this book. Sawako is initially confused by who Chizu has feelings for and Chizu is totally oblivious to the person who has feelings for her.I enjoyed seeing more of the other characters - Yano, Chizu, Ryu/Sanada, Mr. Arai (a teacher), Sawako's parents, etc. but this does mean that the main story line didn't seem to progress very much.This series moves slowly, but Sawako always leaves me with a warm feeling.I give book 5 of kimi ni todoke a 4.In order to come up with an overall review/rating for the series and this specific book within the series, I used the following criteria:Character development: Excellent (5). This series is about teenagers and their relationships; primarily focused on the high school environment and activities. The characters are very real and human. I would be surprised if anyone reading this could not find someone that they can relate to. The characters grow and we learn more about them in a consistent manner. In the 20+ books that I have read of this series, I have not noted any actions that seemed out of character based on the character development and story line. Characters have changed, but they have changed in ways that are logical and consistent with what the reader knows of them.Art: Is slightly better than average (3.5) I enjoy this series a great deal, but the art could be improved especially the faces.Relationship development: is Excellent (5) Although this series does move slowly, this means that the relationships develop as they would in real life. The shy girl doesn't get the guy by the end of the first book, friendships don't develop (or end) abruptly and for no reason, etc.Overall Story: Very Good (4). This is not my 'typical' genre of manga, but I did enjoy reading the books. My big complaint is that it seems to move so so slowly. Anne of Green Gables is a wonderful classic story and it gets 5 stars. This particular printing, however, is completely unacceptable. It's as if someone typed it into a document, and printed it off--no page numbers, not titled at the top of each page, the lines don't even break properly (see photo). Purchased as a gift, thankfully with enough time to purchase a better quality copy--probably for less money! A disgrace to the publishing community.

I LOVED Anne of Green Gables as a child and own the complete hard copy of the Anne series. Initially, I was delighted to find this collection of books written by one of my all time favorite authors for only $0.99 (kindle price. What a steal!) and felt I had to get the digital copy for my kindle at once. As soon as the product was delivered to my device, I began to read it since it's been years since I've visited the darling world that L.M Montgomery created.I was very surprised to find that I kept tripping on certain sentences; the writing didn't seem as smooth as I remembered. When I got to chapter 6, I decided to compare a sentence in the digital print to my old, yellowing physical copy of Anne of Green Gables book. I realized why I had some difficulty reading my new digital copy: THERE ARE TYPOS IN THIS PRODUCT.It contains the WORST kinds of typos. There are typos in which it results in sentences that don't make sense. There are typos with the wrong pronouns in them that make it confusing for the reader to understand which character the publisher meant to write about. I am able to follow the story because I've read Anne of Green Gables more than once with my hard copy but for new readers, these typos will make this beautiful story difficult to read and at times, understand.I hope the digital copy can be fixed so that owners can enjoy L.M. Montgomery's work as it was meant to be enjoyed. I have given this two stars instead of one because of the fabulous price for kindle readers.

BUYER BEWARE! The version published by "CreateSpace" is slapdash print-on-demand garbage. I hoped an illustrated version would be good for a child, but I returned it on first inspection. Nowhere could I find evidence of thought or effort in layout to justify any price. Illustrations are small, extremely infrequent, and essentially worthless. Some shameless soul has simply taken LM Montgomery's text, which, as it is in the public domain, is freely available to anyone, and tried to make money selling it. Interested readers would be advised to download a free ebook or pay for a handsomer edition, such as the Puffin In Bloom version. We went with the Puffin in Bloom version and are much more satisfied.

This is a great book, but buying this edition which Marco Pedulla purports to have translated constitutes buying stolen property.The book was written in Englilsh, so Pedulla has translated nothing. What he has done has taken material free in the public domain and offered it on Amazon.Amazon should NOT support theft.

The illustrations are actually random pictures that are creepy since they are in the beginning when Anne meets Mathew Cuthbert so they insinuate a romance between them. And the free audiobook is click bait to set you up to download an app and give your email address to spammers. Screen shots of the "illustrations" below.

This review is of the kindle version of Anne: The Green Gables Complete Collection and does not reflect on the L.M. Montgomery text. The Anne books have always been favorites of mine. Buy the book, but get another edition! First issue: Really random pics grabbed from some art history textbook do not qualify as illustrations. They are more distracting than I would have imagined. Why didn't they leave the totally unrelated images out? Second issue: This is some new definition of complete that I am unacquainted with. This is Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea only. None of the later books are included. False advertising. A text I am being pulled out of by unnecessary distractions. There have to be better options. I am going in search of one.

30-MINUTE KETO MEAL PREP 2019 is really an amazing cookbook.I love this cookbook and tried few of recipes ,that were really delicious.21 Days Keto Meal Prep Meal Plan is also awesome .I would like to recommend this cookbook to all my friends!

I choose a diet as good as ketogenic one. I can meal prepping and prepare luscious food using the recipes now. With planning and guidance, anyone can harness the benefits of a ketogenic diet plan. It is important to learn and practice then gradually adopt a pace suitable to lifestyle. This keto meal prep cookbook gave me enough insight to get started with the meal.

The quick and healthy meal is all we long for. There are several ways in which we can incorporate keto plans into our everyday diet, and 30 minutes meal prep recipes are the easiest way out. Entering into the world of ketogenic diet require more of the mental strength than physical. Well written by the Author. I got helps from this keto meal prep guide. Suggested!

The recipes look good and fairly easy to make. I appreciate that most of the recipes have pictures of the finished item. The information at the beginning of the book is helpful for those of us considering giving keto a try. Overall quite nice.

Terrible. It’s hard to believe this book ever got published or had an editor. Rather, it appears to have been cut/pasted perhaps from blog(s) without further copy editing for format, font, or logic. It’s possible the cut/paste job wasn’t even discerning enough to ensure the content came from keto blogs. For instance, one of the recipes tells you to pierce and then bake the “potato” - um, hello? This is a KETO cookbook, there is no place for a potato here. Also, randomly instructions would be numbered starting at something like #23 instead of, you know, #1.Although I think this book was less than $6 to buy, I had to return it as I couldn’t stand to think of such a horribly written and edited book taking up space in my house. Just awful.

I cannot believe all the positive reviews this book has. First of all, so many of the ingredients are not keto friendly... barbecue sauce, carrots, quinoa, peas, potatoes... these are all ingredients to avoid. Also, there are so many typos and grammatical errors in this book it is really hard to follow. This book was very quickly and cheaply put together and I would not trust that the recipes are good for your keto lifestyle.

I’ve tried 7 different keto cookbooks and this one is by far my favorite. The book is written well and the photos are incredible! My favorite recipes were the salmon patties, green omelet wraps and chocolate cookies - easy to make and they taste delicious. Also every recipe comes with the meal macros, so it’s easy to follow the veto diet. I would also recommend checking out Tina's blog for even more recipe ideas!

I wouldn't trust this book, there were recipes that called for Non-Keto approved ingredients. Add that to this book being filled with misspellings & grammatical errors, to the point that I found it distracting. The feel of the paper is very similar to the kind used in children's coloring books.
